Tech Rider

SPLASTEEN is a self-contained live modular performance system designed for high-intensity sound and wide dynamic range.

Infrastructure: For venues with house sound, I provide a stereo line-level feed. For DIY spaces or non-traditional environments in the Seattle/PNW area, I can provide a full mobile PA system by prior arrangement.

No stage monitors required. No laptop used during performance.

1. Space & Power

Furniture

Table: sturdy, minimum ~4 ft wide
Chair: standard chair (seated performance)
Footprint: performer + table only

Power

(1) grounded AC outlet within reach
Standard venue power is fine

2. Audio I/O

Scenario A: House PA

Outputs: (2) × 1/4" TRS (L/R), balanced.

Venue provides (2) DI boxes or 1/4" inputs.

Stereo preferred; mono possible.

Scenario B: Artist PA

Available for local/regional dates only.

I provide: Full active stereo system + all cabling.

Requirement: 2 additional dedicated power circuits.

3. Logistics

Timing

Setup (House PA): ~15 minutes
Setup (Artist PA): ~30 minutes
Strike: ~10 minutes

Volume + Room

Wide dynamic range: subtle to high-intensity.

Levels are calibrated to suit room constraints.

4. Environment

Atmosphere

Seated performance (chair required).
Compatible with low-light/dark rooms.

What I Bring

All instruments, internal routing, and power.
All cabling to house DIs or mobile PA.
